golfer looking for a great bunch of guys who play golf under USGA rules and
have fun doing so at different courses each week I encourage you to join the
MISSION:
Spend good space while playing the game of golf by the rules regardless of
the conditions. SECOND: To promote and foster among the members a closer bond and fraternity for their joint and mutual benefit, and to promote and conserve the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf as embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions. THIRD: To encourage conformance to the USGA Rules of Golf by creating a representative authority. FOURTH: To maintain a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the USGA Handicap System and issue USGA Handicap Indexes to the members. FIFTH: To provide an authoritative body to govern and conduct club competitions. ABOUT: Iron Thong Golf is a group of golfers that come together every Saturday morning to play San Antonio and surrounding areas best and worse golf courses. For the cost of $20.00 every six months we provide USGA handicapping and a good time -the rest is up to you. We play stroke play (NET) golf so all levels of experience pays off. We have a mandatory skins competition which is $5.00 extra dollars a week and a mandatory donation of $1.00 every time you play on Saturday. All monies collected and not paid out goes into the kitty which funds the prize money for the bi-yearly tournament which is for members only. Every week we also offer a "non-mandatory" Birdie Pool for $5.00. Come visit our website for more information and play golf like we do
