Canyon Springs Golf Club

Canyon Springs is a true Hill Country Course, you need to stay on the fairways or bring plenty of balls. Using an old farm to build on this choice piece of Texas Real Estate, this land has been artfully transformed into what many golfers will refer to as among the very best of what this great state has to offer.

Each hole is a separate experience, a beautiful scene completely by itself. You do not see other fairways. Each cart is equipped with Global Positioning System, GPS, giving you the exact distance to the pin on each hold. GPS also shows you the pin placement on each green. It's like playing with a professional caddy who knows the course.

With five sets of tee boxes on each hole, demanding greens, natural hill country surroundings and magnificent limestone waterfalls on the 19th and 18th holes, this 7077 yard course (from the tips -- that's right) it presents a significant challenge to event the most experienced golfers (and even those who think they are). Super golf and homesites are available.

Distance: About 30 minutes from downtown. Take I-281 North past 1604 to Evans road. Turn left on Evans and go straight. Evans Road turns into Canyon Golf Road. Just keep going straight, the entrance on on the right.
