River Crossing Golf Club
About
River Crossing Golf Club is a private course offering 18 holes of championship golf nestled in the serene beauty of the Texas Hill Country, less than 20 minutes from San Antonio. Players at River Crossing enjoy panoramic views in a quiet, country setting.
Most fairways at River Crossing Golf Club are lined with trees and not as open as they might appear. The golf course has plenty of water including one island type green. River Crossing G.C. has lots of elevations with some slope on fairways. The greens are generally large and the tiffgrass provides plenty of speed. This golf course is attracting lots of local tournaments and that's a good indicator of how well area golfers like it. If you get a chance to play golf at River Crossing, do so.

18th at River Crossing Photo submitted by Robert9887468 on 03/17/2013
Course was in excellent shape and is fun to play.
The course was in excellent shape. Greens were not super fast but had descent speed, rolled consistent and true. If you started it on line it went in. Staff was friendly and the facilities are great, Bar and Grill.
Beautiful course with perfect greens
Great course in the middle of nowhere. Excellent condition, some of the best greens i have ever played in over 500 courses. Nice course routing and great staff, a very pleasant experience at a very fair price. I will play it again when in the San Antonio area, well worth the 25 minute drive from north side of town.
The primary defense for this course on many holes is the greens themselves. Bring your putter and your focus
This course is still a lot of fun to play. Greens were in perfect shape, firm, fast and rolling true. Course offers a very fair test, but you must stay in position off the tee or you will get punished. Great pace of play (we finished in just over 3 1/2 hrs on the Monday afternoon of Thanksgiving week) and accommodating staff (starter let us go off on the back 9 first which really helped speed up our round. Great value on Golfnow and I'll definitely be back out there.
I can't believe I waited this long to play this fantastic course.
Above average fairways. Not perfect but really good. Sand was exceptional. Only in it once but very playable. Cannot say enough about the greens. Perfect condition, very fast and rolled true. Can't wait to go back..Won't be too long.
The course was in great condition.
The fairways and greens were excellent. Water, cups, and fresh ice were provided in several locations on the course. The young man in the pro shop was more interested in the TV than customers.
Greens were AMAZING!!! BEST I HAVE PLAYED IN A LONG TIME!!!
NICE COURSE NOT TOO DIFFICULT...I WISH THEY COULD HIDE THE GOLDEN ARCHES FROM VIEW ON SEVERAL HOLES.
Fun to play,
This is a good course to play. They offer a friendly staff, good range, practice area is above average. Pace of play can be a little slow, lots of singles and twosomes on the course, but not horrible.
great course
extremely nice course for....even better for the price i paid!
Awesome greens!
Great pace of play with breath taking scenery. This course is very enjoyable to play.
course well kept up, challenging, staff very helpful

one of the best couse in san antonio
river crossing golf couse is one of my favorite.we go there atlot,we love that couse.
Real Hill country course with beautiful landscape.
Wide open fairway, well managed fairway and green, good for senior.
Great course
Very good course. It is in very good condition and for the cost is an excellent value. Good driving range and pro shop and bar and grill. The course has been very well maintained.
Great Hill Country Cours
This is a fair and challenging course with many unique holes. Challenging par 4s, and hittable par 5s, although the latter are protected by tough greens. Excellent course and great staff!
Nice layout. No repeating holes. Challenging and well maintained.
This would be one of the courses I would plan on playing if my group took a golf trip to the San Antonio area.
Fun to play
The course is always in fair to good condition, very playable and challenging enough from the back tees but increasingly fair as you move up in tees.
A well maintained course for a pleasant afternoon
Playing River Crossing is a pleasant experience. The course is very well maintained with fairways, bunkers, and greens always in top shape. The course provides extra value amenities such as included practice tee balls, water on about half the holes, and ice available each nine. The holes tend to be on the short side, reachable for even short hitters, but still require accurate shots. Greens run true and quick. I can't think of a more enjoyable place to spend the afternoon.
This course has great features.
The greens had just been sanded, but were recovering nicely. I loved the layout and challenge.
