Starcke Park Golf Course
About
Situated on the north bank of the Guadalupe River, Starcke Park Golf Course (formerly known as Max Starcke Park Golf Course) stretches across a scenic landscape of century-old pecan trees. The golf course is easy to walk being of mostly flat terrain. Trees line the fairways, making accurate tee shots top priority in scoring well. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course and water hazards coming into play on a few holes for added challenge. Starcke Park Golf Course’s signature hole is the par-4 finishing hole, which requires a tee shot down a narrow fairway bordered by pecan trees on the right and a pond on the left. Considered one of the best municipal golf courses in Texas, Max Starcke Park G.C. also offers a practice and putting green and driving range.

Good course
This has always been a good course and it looks like they are putting money into the water features. Hopefully it makes it even better
very spotty grass
If you can avoid all the construction areas/hazards then you will need to change your putting speed from green to green because some have grass and some have huge bare spots. They don't over seed the greens and that's a shame.
Greens not great
Lots of shrubs on the greens. Greens super compact and just keep the ball rolllllling. I’m sure will be better in the next few weeks. Love the carts with GPS.
Great course
This is a great course to play at its wide open so errent tee shots still end up in play or are easy to find great for beginner golfers I’ve played here 5 times already this is my favorite course it is only 20 minutes away from where I live over all I recommend to any level of golfer
Fast greens
Usually the greens have good grass. Not today. They were hard, more dirt than grass. Maybe they are in process of seeding them.???
Always a Great Time!!
This is a little jewel on the Guadalupe in Seguine amongst pecan trees! You must give it a try.
Just pass by
The staff was friendly but that is not enough for me to return. The course was in horrible condition and the pace of play was beyond horrible. The 2nd hole was closed (the entire hole) and just about every other group had 5 and most were walking. The course is a flat very open layout without any real trouble or hazards. The carts had gps on them but they didn’t work. I would recommend just taking a pass on this course and save yourself the wasted time and money.
January Golf
Weather was little chilly but very playable, course was in typical January conditions for Texas. Greens very fast but good condition.
